This might sound strange, but I met a man on Twitter.

Turns out, he is a rep for a fabulous beauty line called "Sibu Beauty". ;)

So lucky me, I was included in their promotional campaign to get the
word out about Sibu Beauty which is designed around the Sea Buckthorn fruit.
This tasty little fruit has the hallmark of the acai berry in the sense that it can
do amazing things for the human skin. I have a strong feeling that you'll be
hearing a lot more about the Sea Buckthorn fruit in the near future.

Listen, I'm no spring chicken so I reaaaaaaaally appreciate a good cleansing soap
and facial moisturizer. For years I had been using the Clinique Dramatically
Moisturizing Facial Lotion. Until now. My face is sensitive to lotions and I tend
to break out with anything on my face, especially my forehead. Lucky for me, the
"Repair & Protect" face cream is like a dream! My cheeks have never felt softer.

Another product I have to highlight is the "Revitalize & Renew" liquid supplement.
I've been drinking it in the morning with my breakfast shake and it's sooooo good!
It's almost like an intense orange juice, tangy & sweet. It adds a nice punch to my
shake, but even better, it's working on my skin from the inside.

I noticed my nails are stronger too. If you start taking all the supplements and
drink the juice, you'll actually have to CUT your nails because they're getting too long!

So I really have to thank my new Twitter buddy Peter from Sibu Beauty. I get
exposed to a lot of new products, most of which have little impact on my everyday

If you're interested in minimizing wrinkles, then airbrushing might be the way to go. I saw a demo that knocked my socks off and after doing a little research, I found a cool site that sells supplies.

So of course I became an affiliate! ;)

I'm passing on the info to you. As it turns out, airbrush makeup and airbrush tanning are HUGE trends in makeup and beauty products.

A lot of women are considering selling it as an service and spa and salon owners are offering airbrush makeup and airbrush tanning as a way of expanding their services.

While doing a little online therapy the other day, I came across the kewl-ist boots ever. These Koolaburra Boots are just like my Uggs, only with A LOT of personality.

Don't get me wrong, I wear my Uggs *constantly*. It's like having my feet in bed as I go traipsing around town on errands. However, Uggs are so popular now that they don't really stand out in a crowd.

But the Koolaburra boots do! I really like the "Naughty & Nice" ones as well as the "Heart & Soul". Just as soon as I hit the lottery, I'm getting one of each. :P

Wow, talk about sexy! I've been working out to a killer new DVD and I'm *feelin it*, if you know what I mean. ;) I was looking for something sexy to strut in and I found these at Steve Madden's. You know, the toe is not too pointy which is great for me. Have you seen the super pointy ones? Seriously, how do women squish their feet in there?!They make my feet hurt just looking at them. Not to mention I wear a size 9, so I'd have to get at least a 12 just so I wouldn't have to walk funny. That sort of defeats the whole point of the sexy shoes, doesn't it. ;)

The Day Dress by BCBG

There is an old expression to describe mediocrity..."Run of the mill".
When a factory produces fabric in bulk, it is used in many ways to create many things. They literally run the machines to create the fabric. While it may be nice, it's not exactly special.

What I love about BCBC as a company is that they produce fabrics with colors and patterns that are distinctly *not* run of the mill.

This little dress is a great example of #4, the day dress. The colors are so great! It can be worn with a short denim jacket if it's a little chilly, and some cute flats would make a really cute outfit to run around town, go to lunch or what the heck, go shopping!

The Classic Dress Pant

The classic dress pant. Yay! We can't wear our sweats EVERY day, no matter how cold it is outside. Sometimes a girl just has to put her big girl pants and act like a woman! What better way to act the part than to suit up and show up in these beautiful black dress pants made by Joe's Jeans?

Okay, so confession time. These are not *true* dress pants (I know you fabulous ladies took one look and knew that). ;) The reason I picked these is because in my neck of the woods, California, a black denim, if it's a good quality can be considered "dress". Also, I don't work in an office where a formal dress code has to be considered, so there's that.

What I love about these particular jeans is, first and foremost, they are stretch denim. Waaaay more comfortable than regular denim pants. Secondly, for my body type, the pockets sit slightly lower, giving my bum a more rounded appearance. Woo hoo! Joe's jeans are also a good quality pant. I have some that have taken a beating and they still look as fresh as the day I bought 'em. It's all about the quality!

Counting down, we have #2 of the 10 essentials list. The basic black dress! I'm sure you already have one. What fashionista worth her stilettos doesn't? However I must point out why this one is so great. This particular one is done in one of the most universally flattering styles to just about every body type: the wrap dress. Big hips? No problem, black is very slimming and the length can be varied. No boobs? No problem, a camisol can be worn under it. Dress it up with heals or wear it with flats and a cardigan for a more casual look. Viola...instant fabulous!

To kick off the top ten list, I'm starting with the classic white tailored shirt. This particular one caught my eye on "The Oprah Winfrey Show". It's by Brooks Brothers, and get this: It's iron free. That's right girls. Put your iron away! According to fashion editor Stacy Wallace-Albert, this tailored white shirt came *straight* out of the DRYER....and looked as a new $100 bill. I totally want one now! (Oprah tends to have that effect on me.)

A first for me here...a book recommendation! Beauty comes from the inside out, don't you think?
How many times have you thought, "Wow, that guy is handsome!" but after he speaks, you think maybe it's time to back away slowly.

I think it works the other way too. Picture this: average Joe who knows who he is, who has purpose and confidence...that's just damn sexy! Right girls?! Well, don't think men don't view us the same way.

This book is one of those books that truly brings out the best in you. I'm just about done and I have to say, it's been a long time since I've been this affected. My mind is on fire with thoughts that are bringing clarity. I can honestly say I feel happier and I know it shows.

So I ask you: If you're glowing from the inside, does it really matter what you wear on the outside? Yes! It does! Let's not get carried away...but read the book. It's super fabulous.

Guess who loves Louis Vuitton? I do! That's me last year after I bought a Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Batignolles Verticle. Whew..that's a mouth full! It's my favorite bag by a long stretch. Not to diminish my love for the little Vive Cite PM that I'm wearing. LOVE that little bad with the matching wallet. The thing about Louis Vuitton is the unparalleled quality. Louis Vuitton also has a long history of beautiful design and a reputation to match. In my humble opinion, there's nothing finer than an LV bag.

Some girls like to spend $50 per bag and they must have 30 bags...at least! For that much cash, I'd rather have one REALLY special bag that could be worn with ANYTHING than a bunch of cheap bags. I think the bag a woman chooses to carry says a lot about her. Don't you? So why not go for something that makes you feel like the special person you are? Go for it!

She has a point though. I've seen so many make over shows where women who don't have their eyebrows done, look so good after. It's amazing how the eyebrow when properly done, can balance out the face and open up the eyes.

You may have noticed that I have already mentioned Jo Malone body cream. Well, here is the fragrance. Yum!

I had to go check out the sales at Valley Fair this weekend...crazy good! Jo Malone has a boutique there (with a very handsome salesman I might add) so of course I had to stop in to moisturize! I wish I caught the man's name, but darn it he was so charming and so busy telling me I had to try the Honeysuckle & Jasmine cologne, that I forgot to take note. Oh well!

You know what this reminded me of? Summertime. It was the kind of sent that a cold body in a wool coat longs for in the middle of winter. One deep whiff of this, and I was transported I tell you!

I think we all could use a little tropical vacation right about now, don't you? (sigh)

Okay, here's an actual picture of me wearing the Tiffany & Co "Return to Tiffany's" necklace (and Lipsense Lip Colour, and Mac Lashes).

This was a gift for Christmas last year, and I have found that I go for this necklace (and bracelet) time and time again. Paired with diamond stud earrings, it looks simple and classic. It also looks good with any color I have on...black, grey, pink...you name it, it looks fabulous. And even better, I FEEL fabulous!

In keeping with the "Day After" theme, I have to mention Juicy Couture Hoodies & Pants. Man, oh man are they comfey! Exactly the kind of thing you want after a night on the town.

Now, I suppose if I had abs as flat as these, I might wear 'em like this stunning woman. But doesn't that look a little cold (not to mention slutty)?! You know what, I'm not 21 anymore and I don't think I could get away with this. That and I don't live in LA. Out of all the beauty products I've used, this is the one I've used the longest. Believe it or not, I've been using this lip color for more than seven years! (Actually, I'm even wearing it in my profile picture!)

We first heard of LUSH from a friend who gave us some "Honey I washed the kids" while on a trip to Vegas. The smell is good enough to make your EYES roll back into your HEAD, it's that good. It's a warm sweet smell of honey and toffee. Good for sensitive skin and it leaves you smelling soooo good.

There are stores in Valley Fair or in San Francisco near Union Square. Of course you can always purchase it online if you don't want to brave the traffic and crowds. Enjoy!

Steve Madden shoes are so cool and funky...I just can't get enough of them! These are called "Brytni" and they are super sexy cool. I have to admit, I'm a bit of an attention junkie. Can I just say, I got soooo much attention wearing these shoes!? You know how guys give you that side

You might think these qualify as 10 min shoes, but they are surprisingly comfortable. I think the deception lies at the platform under the toe. The heel isn't really as high as it looks. And it doesn't hurt to wear the shoe pads either. ;)

Pyle iPod Player

We stayed at a hotel in SF, and while it was a nice room, there was no music! Of course I'm not counting the digital clock radio, yuk. We were up there with some friends and when I went to their room, it was like a party in there!

My girlfriend has this bumpin little iPod player she got from Overstock.com>. The sound quality was amazing and she had all our favorite dance club music on her iPod playlist. What a difference it makes to have some fun music playing in the background while you're getting ready to go out!

A great evening out ends with a great evening in...so you better be smellin lovely! Start by layering your fragrance with Jo Malone body cream. I first heard about it on Oprah, then tried it for myself. Can I say heaven in a jar?! My fav is the French Lime Blossom.
It might sound like something you'd bite into after a shot of tequila but it's not...It's really fresh & clean.

When we went to the city a couple weeks ago I had it on and people commented on it all night. Can you imagine that? Either this is good stuff or I need to be wearing hotter clothes when we go dancing.

My girlfriend Amy gave me my first pair of True Religion Jeans...yes, she's a true friend! I haven't had a really nice pair of jeans in a long time till then. It was like the sky parted and the rays of sun came down.

What I love most about these jeans is they fit me! I suffer from FBS (flat butt syndrome), yes I know it's sad. But not to worry, cuz if you have that same problem then these jeans are the answer.

Whenever I go out to a club or a party, I wear Mac Lashes. They are easy to put on and they look fabulous! The lashes really make your eyes stand out in pictures too. What I like most about the Mac Lashes are they are so durable!
I don't know how many times I've used them. You can even wash them, remove the glue and they won't fall apart. When you go to buy them, go just as you're about to hit the town. They'll put them on for you, including the eye shadow, mascara, and eye liner. Best deal in town!

These are my 10 minute heels...can't stand in them for more than 10 minutes. But my goodness...they are HOT! Doncha think?!

Of course I have a little trick to save my feet. I use the silicone foot pads in them. That way, I might even be able to dance a little bit. ;)
